Henley High School will be a seeking a dedicated teacher of science education, who is passionate about teaching adolescents, a strong team member, and willing to continually reflect and build upon his/her skills in the field of science.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and promote high standards and expectations for all students and staff for academic performance and responsibility for behavior.
- Ensure high quality instruction takes place every day.
- Collaborate with department and district colleagues.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Depth and breadth of content knowledge particularly in physics, integrated science and biology.
- Highly organized and strong communicator.
- Strong classroom management skills for freshmen and sophomores.
- Effective at promoting self-discipline through classroom management strategies.

Primary Function:
To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program, as designated by the Klamath County School District, in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.
