ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and promote high standards and expectations for all students and staff for academic performance and responsibility for behavior.
- Ensure high quality instruction takes place every day.
- Collaborate with department and district colleagues.
- Serve as FFA adviser, including overseeing on-site greenhouse and farm, holding chapter meetings and community events, and coordinating student competitions and events.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Ag Science curriculum.
- Experience with advising FFA and working with the state and national organization.
- Highly organized and strong communicator.
- Ability to create and maintain community ties.
- Effective at promoting self-discipline through classroom management strategies.

Primary Function:
To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program, as designated by the Klamath County School District, in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.
